Risograph

- white
- metallic gold
Black cover weight paper
The goal of this project was to follow a set of rules provided by another student. We each wrote a script to be followed by another student. This process made me realize the various ways rules can spark creativity. When you are given a set of rules in life, naturally, as humans, we think of creative ways to make almost any experience interesting.
Script for poster 1Create an unsettling poster that conveys a sense of violence. Maintain simplicity in the color palette.
Script for poster 2Create a protest poster using only pink, black, and/or white. Consider how the color pink is associated with women. How might you use the color pink to express power to counter conventional associations with the color, such as delicate and weak?
Script for poster 3Create a circus-themed poster. Incorporate framing, human forms,
and abstract shapes.
Revolutionary Typography Risograph

Using only typography, I was asked to create a
revolutionary poster addressing a specific issue.
I took particular inspiration from protest posters
in the 1960s; the ones that got the message across
in an impactful, brief, and powerful manner.
